  • Connect the positive (+) connector, marked red, to the positive terminal of your inverter.
  • Also hook the negative (-) connector – marked black – to the negative terminal of your inverter.
  • Connect the ground wire connector to the ground terminal (copper) of the inverter when prompted.
  • Tighten the nuts on each connection until they are snug.
  • Route the red and black wires to the battery and connect the black wires to the negative battery terminal first. Keep in mind that you connect the red (plus) wire to the battery a little later.
